These are clear, unmounted stamps with a static cling. You don't need glue or mounting foam, but you will need an acrylic block (or something flat and shiny) to allow stamping. Remove the clear backing from the stamp first! You will be able to see through the stamp and block to allow you to position your text right where you want it.
